A WARM WELCOME TO

HUTTON LE HOLE HOLIDAYS

Hutton le Hole Caravan Park is situated within the North York Moors National Park, close to the village of Hutton le Hole. The Park is situated in a 5 acre field at Westfield Lodge Farm, which has been in the owners' family since 1921 and as well as providing on-farm walks, it is ideal for walking the North York Moors and touring the area.

The owner, Annabel Strickland, along with sons Paul and James, have a wealth of experience with tourism here at Westfield and touring caravans have been staying at the farm for over 25 years.

We re-open on Friday 15 March 2024 for the season.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone and welcoming those who haven't stayed with us before.  We close our touring pitches at the end of October but you can still come and stay with us in one of our Country Lodges.

Spring 2024: come and walk the banks of the River Dove to enjoy a lovely walk amongst the native daffodils found in Farndale.  A lovely walk at any time but especially in Spring.  Follow the 3 mile walk from Low Mill to Church Houses and back, stopping at the Feversham Arms pub or the Daffy Caffy, but check if it is open in 2024, we await news.  Parts of the walk are suitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters depending on the weather.

Summer 2024: the Bell Heather is ready to bloom on the Moors.  You can drive from site to Whitby via Castleton and enjoy the most spectacular views.  Or walk from site and from the Nab the heather will be beautiful.  Head down into the Village and you can paddle in the stream, enjoy an ice cream, cake or a refreshing drink from a great selection of tea rooms, deli or the pub.  Visit the Ryedale Folk Museum and your ticket will last for the rest of the year so you can go back as many times as you like.  A walk over to Lastingham and lunch at the Blacksmiths Arms is a popular trip for a longer walk or down to the Crown in Hutton le Hole might suit those wanting a shorter walk.  You can walk from site so no need to pack up and drive!

Autumn 2024: if you are touring with us in Autumn, then hurry, as we close our season on 31 October.  If you'd like to stay in our Pheasant and Stag Lodges we are open for the rest of the year.  It's the Dark Skies Festival and Mindfulness Month in the North York Moors National Park with lots of events going on so come and spend some quality time  with us!  Christmas Shopping favourites are Helmsley, Beadlam Grange, Danby Moors Centre, Kirkbymoorside and even York isn't far away by car.

Check out the North York Moors National Park publication "out and about" or their website for upcoming events and activities across the National Park.  Copies available from Reception soon.
